This Privacy Policy describes how Peng Shuang ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Wildlife Atlas app (the "App", known as 野生动物大图鉴 in Chinese).
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no user account system, no analytics tracking, and no third-party data sharing. All information you create within the App — such as species notes, field notes, and the species you have lit up on the globe — is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it.
The App's only network activity is downloading a content catalog when you pull down on the globe, so that newly added species can appear without an App update. This request downloads content data (species information) only. It does not send any personal information or device identifiers, and it cannot be used to identify you.
The App plays narration audio and animal sounds stored locally on your device. It does not use the microphone and never records audio.
The App offers a one-time purchase to unlock all species and features (the first 20 species are free). Purchase transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, including credit card numbers or billing addresses.
The App is designed for users of all ages, including children. Since we do not collect any personal information, there is no risk to children's privacy through our App.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or social media platforms that collect data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
